Park of the Week: Easterday Park

Nestled in Northeast Lincoln is Easterday Park. This park is next to Easterday Recreation Center which provides adaptive recreation programs for people with disabilities. There are some adaptive elements at this park so families can play together.

PARKING AND LOCATION

  • Next to the Easterday Recreation Center at 61st and Adams Streets.
  • Lots of parking available

SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES

  • Big trees give the playground lots of shade in the morning.
  • If your child like to make art with chalk, there is black top.
  • A trail runs through the park
  • There are outdoor musical instruments.
  • For adults, there are three exercise stations.





BATHROOMS & OTHER AMENITIES

  • There are no restrooms in the park. There are restrooms at Easterday Recreation Center, if it is open.
  • There are two benches to sit on and lots of big trees for sitting in the shade.
